There is something so special about the autumn season. The air is crisp and the breeze is cooling. Before the leaves fall, they turn into warm cozy colors like reds and oranges and most beautifully the sky becomes an extra rich blue. Actually, the fall season is also nicknamed the aurora season because the evening skies are so clear, making them perfect for stargazing.

There once was a time during our childhood when the pinnacle of our autumnal experience was gorging on candy at Halloween, jumping in piles of leaves, and feasting on pie at Thanksgiving. However, for us grown-ups, we've learned to find joy in other wonderful things about this season. One of our favorite ways to enjoy this cozy season is to throw on a sweater and chill with a cuppa tea in hand.

Although tea for us is seasonless, a warm cup of tea just fits that vibe from the changing to a cooler season. And you know what makes an autumnal cup of tea even more special for when we grown-ups want to spoil ourselves? Yep, you guessed it... getting boozy with tea-infused cocktails.

Tea infused cocktails combine our favorite autumnal daily treat, tea, with our favorite weekend or after-work treat, cocktails.

5 Delicious Tea-Infused Fall Cocktails

Not only is infusing a fall cocktail with tea the perfect way to enjoy your favorite drink with booze, but also the addition of tea is an excellent way to add rich health benefits to an alcoholic drink. Numerous studies have backed teas’ abilities to boost your immune system and fight off inflammation, which is going to be very useful considering the consumption of alcohol compromises your body's immunity.

Another perk of fall tea cocktails is that the tea infusion adds extra flavor to your autumn beverage. Tea has so many varieties of flavor; this includes anything from nutty, umami, juicy, snappy, bitter, bold, to citrusy.

So, with that said, we've put together 5 incredible recipes for fall tea cocktails that go beyond just the usual hot toddies and that are spiced, warming, rich with flavor, and cozy enough to help you embrace the wonderful dreamy fall season every weekend.

1. Pumpkin Spiced Old Fashioned
