Wise Ape Tea Partners With The National Brain Tumor Society

My name is Joe Scola, I'm the founder and Chief Ape at Wise Ape Tea.

This is a huge win and an honor to be working with such a remarkable organization which continuously pushes forward on a profoundly powerful mission. This official partnership with the National Brain Tumor Society marks a very proud moment for us here at Wise Ape and yet it symbolizes so much more than a partnership announcement, because it's also deeply interwoven with the challenging life circumstances which served to inspire the creation our brand. 

In 2014 my father was diagnosed with GBM brain cancer. He fought courageously for 14 months before succumbing to the disease. Witnessing the destructive nature of his illness first hand deeply inspired the altruistic core embedded within Wise Ape Tea. I knew then that an integral part of our mission would be contributing to the fight against brain cancer and to find new ways to further support the brain tumor communities.

The National Brain Tumor Society (NBTS) focuses heavily on education, building awareness, and raising funds for brain cancer research. The NBTS is the largest non-profit in the US supporting the brain tumor community and they're led by an incredibly passionate team of individuals. Because of these reasons, we have been intent on creating this partnership with the NBTS from our inception.

Wise Ape will be donating 10% of profits from our Chocolate Hustle adaptogenic tea blend to the NBTS. In addition, we very much look forward to contributing to future NBTS events and meeting many of the families and survivors who have fought ferociously against this terrible illness.
